The global platform bridging technology and diplomacy

The Home of Tech Diplomacy

The Tech Diplomacy Global Institute is the world’s premier organization bridging technology and international relations. From our home in Paris, we unite Tech Ambassadors from every region, convene four Expert Councils on AI, cyber, quantum, and space diplomacy, and bring together the leaders of governments, international organizations, and technology companies. Through the annual Tech Diplomacy Global Forum, executive education, research, and advisory services, we give nations the neutral ground where trust is built and the world’s digital future is negotiated, shaped, and secured.

Our Vision and Mission

Vision: A world where technology and diplomacy converge to solve global challenges and foster international cooperation.

Mission: To pioneer the field of tech diplomacy by connecting leaders, driving innovative policy, and shaping the future of international relations in the digital age.

Technology is reshaping global power dynamics and transforming international relations at unprecedented speed. The Tech Diplomacy Global Institute stands at this critical intersection as the world’s premier institution bridging technology and global policy.

We are the first global platform to invite nation states to appoint Tech Ambassadors and unite them under one neutral, multilateral forum. We advise governments on digital transformation, convene global leaders to shape international standards, build institutional capacity, and produce research that defines the future of technology governance.

The Tech Diplomacy Global Institute is the trusted neutral ground where the world’s digital future is negotiated, shaped, and secured.

Tech Diplomacy Global Executive Program

Executive Education – The Only Program That Makes You a Tech Diplomacy Leader

Technology now shapes power, security, and sovereignty. TDGEP is a six-month executive program for senior government and corporate leaders — two immersive weeks in Paris, four online modules, and a real Capstone project designed for immediate institutional use. Limited to 30 leaders. 2026 cohort now open.

What We Do

The Tech Diplomacy Global Institute is at the forefront of bridging technology and diplomacy through four interconnected pillars:

Institutionalizing Tech Diplomacy

We work with governments to establish Tech Ambassador positions, senior diplomatic representatives dedicated to technology and innovation diplomacy at the highest levels of foreign policy, and with companies to build the counterpart function.

Global Convenings

We host the annual Tech Diplomacy Global Forum, the Global Assembly in Paris, and regional convenings bringing together ministers, ambassadors, tech leaders, and policy experts.

Capacity Building

Through TDGEP, the world’s only executive program built for tech diplomacy, we train diplomats in technology and technologists in diplomacy, building the expertise both governments and industry need to navigate AI governance, cybersecurity, data flows, and digital trade.

Research & Advisory

We produce the Global Technology Diplomacy Report, the annual Global 50, and other insights and publications, alongside strategic advisory services to governments navigating digital transformation.

Tech Diplomacy Global Institute
Bridging Technology and Diplomacy for a Connected World

Our Expert Councils

The Expert Councils are the intellectual engine of the Tech Diplomacy Global Institute: four councils of senior policymakers, diplomats, scientists, and industry leaders who anticipate how frontier technologies are reshaping international relations, advise governments, and shape the agenda of the annual Global Forum at UNESCO.

AI Diplomacy
Council

Artificial intelligence is now the central axis of geopolitical competition between nations. The AI Diplomacy Council builds governance frameworks for sovereign AI, cross-border data flows, and multilateral cooperation on frontier AI safety.

Cyber Diplomacy
Council

Cyberspace is where states cooperate, compete, and clash every day. The Cyber Diplomacy Council advances norms of responsible state behavior, protects digital infrastructure, and builds cyber capacity worldwide.

Quantum Diplomacy
Council

Quantum technologies will redraw the boundaries of security and encryption. The Quantum Diplomacy Council prepares governments for the post-quantum transition and shapes norms before capabilities outpace them.

Space Diplomacy
Council

Orbit has become critical infrastructure for every nation on Earth. The Space Diplomacy Council addresses satellite governance, space traffic management, and the diplomacy of a congested and contested orbital domain.
