Biography

Lyantoniette Chua is a global AI diplomacy practitioner and Founder of Asia Affairs AI (AAA).

Lyantoniette is a Fellow with Distinction (Class of 2021) at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP, Washington DC) and is listed among the 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics 2024. As Global Convenor of The Ambit, she anchored the Philippines’ No. 2 global ranking for AI and fundamental rights in the 2024 Global Index for Responsible AI. She also co-founded AI Safety Asia (AISA, Hong Kong SAR) and served as Executive Director for Strategic Futures & Global Affairs in 2025; and for Programs and Stakeholder Relations in 2024. Her work spans chief editorship to AI governance publications, AI field-building+training across Asia, and deep tech track 1.5s.
