H.E. Luc Dockendorf

Biography

Luc Dockendorf is a Luxembourg diplomat who has served as Ambassador for Cybersecurity and Digitalization at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs since March 2025. He began working in international relations in 2003 and joined Luxembourg’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2006, with postings in Brussels, New York and Geneva.

He was part of Luxembourg’s team on the UN Security Council in 2013 and 2014 and on the UN Human Rights Council from 2022 to 2024. During Luxembourg’s 2015 Presidency of the Council of the EU, he chaired the Friends of the Presidency Group on Cyber Issues at attaché level. His areas of work include cyber diplomacy, human rights, security policy, development cooperation and multilateral diplomacy. He holds an MA in English and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen.
