Aretha Mare works across three fronts: cybersecurity, data governance and digital gender inclusion. On cybersecurity, she strengthens the trust, protection and cooperation that keep the data economy safe. She works with governments and communities to turn policy into practical action. On data governance, she shapes the policies, standards, and frameworks that turn data into a shared, well-managed asset across the continent. On digital gender inclusion, she partners with governments to bring more women into the digital economy as innovators, experts, leaders, and negotiators. Aretha believes that well-governed, secure, and inclusive data is how Africa builds lasting value.
