Biography
I build the machines that reach space, and the partnerships that make them possible. An aerospace engineer turned commercial leader, I have spent my career where propulsion, launch systems and UAV platforms meet international contracts and policy.
At SoluNox, Pakistan’s first private aerospace and defense engineering company, I led systems engineering for the Manjeeq UAV launchers, won and managed USD 4.2 million in global contracts, and initiated Pakistan’s first commercial space mission. I have directed research ranging from micro gas turbines to aircraft based UAV launch, and I advised the board of Advanced Rocket Technologies on propulsion. I continue to work with SoluNox as a business development consultant.
I am also a founding partner, Director and CEO of AWD Global, a company active in science and technology advisory work and international trade.
Beyond industry, I am a founding member and General Secretary of Space Society Pakistan, where I helped bring space education to national audiences. I have also consulted for Space Impulse Canada and developed course content for Starmaster Australia.
I hold an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Pisa, where my thesis explored green propellants for upper stage propulsion, and a BSc in Space Science from the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad. Based in Lahore, I speak English, Urdu and Hindi, and I offer TDGI an emerging market view of how space and defense technologies are built, shared and governed.
