Dr. Davide Venturelli

Biography

Dr. Davide Venturelli is a Distinguished Fellow and the Associate Director for Quantum at the Universities Space Research Association (USRA) Research Institute for Advanced Computer Science (RIACS), an organization supporting NASA and academic research since 1969. He has served as a senior research scientist contractor and founding member of the NASA Quantum AI Laboratory (QuAIL) since 2012, and most recently with the NASA Office of Data Science and Informatics (ODSI).
As a Principal Investigator on DOD, NSF and DOE projects, including co-leading the Quantum Computing Use Case group at Fermilab under the National Quantum Initiative SQMS center, he has directed benchmarking and co-design efforts on multiple state-of-the-art quantum processors across superconducting, photonic and atomic modalities.
Davide is also an investor partner responsible for Frontier Technologies at Green Sands Equity, and an advisor to TreQ Global Inc and Global Quantum Intelligence.
