Professor Manahel Thabet is a quantum mathematician, economist, and science diplomacy leader whose work spans quantum modeling, cognitive science, and sustainable development. She served as Special Envoy for Science and Technology to the Commonwealth ex Secretary General, supporting scientific cooperation across 56 member states and advancing strategic innovation initiatives, including CommonSpace. She is Deputy Director at the Institute for Brain Chemistry and Human Nutrition at Imperial College London, contributing to interdisciplinary research at the frontier of quantum brain science and emerging quantum approaches.

Professor Thabet is also President of the Economic Forum for Sustainable Development and Founder of Consortium Consultants, advising on data driven economic transformation, resilience, and future focused governance.

A Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Fuellers and Dame of Saint Catherine, her excellency is recognized for high level science diplomacy, institutional leadership, and supporter of women in STEM.
